It’s been awhile since I’ve had the time to sit and blog. I’ve enjoyed every minute of this year (it’s been my busiest to date), and although I’ve done a ton of picture taking, I’ve really been a slacker in sharing those pictures with everyone. So I figured I would start by catching up with one from the beginning of this crazy fun wedding season.
Joe and Courtney were amazing to work with. Both were fun, nervous for the day, and had a great surrounding of family and friends to celebrate with them. One of the best things was while they were celebrating their 1st day of marriage, I was celebrating my 17 year.
We started the day by heading to the salon where Courtney met us and had her makeup done, shared in watching her bridesmaids get ready, and having a fun morning with the girls. Then off to the church we went. It was a beautiful ceremony with many special touches for the couple. Since both Courtney and Joe work with music, they had great touches of a live band and brass quartet incorporated into their day. The ceremony was followed by a fun bus ride and a reception at Bellevue Berry Farm, where lawn games, a smores bar, and simple, yet elegant decor helped to fill their evening with a great time. I was so happy to share in their beautiful day and can’t wait to see where life takes this couple!
